Refund Policy – Space Coast Mealworms
At Space Coast Mealworms, every order is made-to-order — no items are held in stock. Most orders follow standard designs, while fully custom orders (including logos, new dimensions, or one-of-a-kind creations) are produced specifically for you. Refunds for standard made-to-order items are handled per this policy, but fully custom orders are non-refundable once production begins due to their unique nature.
As a one-person operation (and a full-time teacher by day!), I appreciate your patience and understanding as I craft each order with care.
Processing & Shipping Times
Most orders are processed and shipped within 5–7 business days.
Larger, more complex projects, or periods with multiple orders in the queue, may require additional time.
If there’s ever a significant delay, I’ll reach out via email to keep you informed.
Custom & Personalized Orders
Custom orders are made specifically for your request. Once production begins:

Custom orders are non-refundable and non-cancelable, except in cases of my error or defect.

If an error occurs due to incorrect information provided by the customer, a material replacement fee and re-cutting charge may apply before a replacement can be made.
General Refund & Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return or refund (where permitted under this policy), items must be unused, unaltered, and in their original condition.
Refunds or returns will not be accepted for items that:
- Have been glued, assembled, modified, or permanently altered after delivery
- Show signs of use, wear, or damage
- Were altered in a way that prevents resale or reuse
- Were damaged due to improper handling or installation
Once an item has been glued, assembled, or otherwise permanently modified, it cannot be returned or refunded, as it can no longer be resold or reused.
If you are unsure whether an item qualifies for return before modifying or assembling it, please contact Space Coast Mealworms before proceeding.
Refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of Space Coast Mealworms, based on item condition and compliance with this policy.
Address Verification & Customer Communication
It’s important that your shipping details are accurate.
If an address issue or missing information prevents shipment, I will contact you by email. Orders requiring confirmation will be held for up to 30 days while I wait for your response.
If no response is received within that timeframe, the order will be considered abandoned and will be canceled and refunded minus the applicable abandoned-order fee (25% for standard items, 50% for custom items).
If you respond within the 30-day window, I will resume processing your order once the correct shipping information is provided.
Lost, Damaged, or Returned Packages
Once your package is scanned by the carrier, responsibility for delivery passes to them.
If a package is lost or arrives damaged, please notify me within 7 days of the delivery date shown on tracking.
I’ll work with you to file a carrier claim or, in some cases, offer a discounted remake.
Shipping fees are not refundable once the order has shipped.
International Shipping
International orders may be subject to customs fees, duties, or import taxes charged by the destination country.
Space Coast Mealworms is not responsible for these additional costs or for delays caused by customs processing.
Please double-check your address carefully — I may contact you to confirm any incomplete or unclear details.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without contacting me first may delay resolution and limit eligibility for a refund or replacement.
I keep detailed order records, photos, and communication logs for each order to help resolve disputes quickly and fairly.
Refunds (if applicable)
Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after the refund is initiated by Space Coast Mealworms.

Every product from Space Coast Mealworms is cut, packed, and shipped by one person — usually after a long day of teaching!
