Terms of Service – Space Coast Mealworms
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Space Coast Mealworms website and purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or place an order.
2. Orders & Made-to-Order Items
All products are made-to-order — no items are held in stock. Most orders follow standard designs, while fully custom orders (including logos, new dimensions, or one-of-a-kind creations) are produced specifically for you.

Custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.

Made-to-order items that are not custom may be refunded or canceled according to our Refund Policy.

By placing an order, you confirm all provided information (including shipping address and customization details) is accurate.
3. Customer Communication & Abandoned Orders
Customers are responsible for responding to emails regarding address verification, order details, or production questions.

Orders requiring confirmation will be held for up to 30 days.

If no response is received:

Standard orders: a 25% processing/materials fee may apply.

Custom orders: a 50% fee may be withheld to cover materials and labor.

Refunds or reshipments will not be processed until the customer responds and confirms the necessary information.

Before contacting Space Coast Mealworms regarding order status, tracking information, or confirmations, please check your inbox, spam, and trash folders to make sure our emails haven’t been misdirected.
4. Shipping & Risk of Loss
Customers may select their preferred shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, DHL – DHL international only).
Space Coast Mealworms reserves the right to ship with a different carrier if the delivery timeframe is equivalent, to save costs or improve packaging.

Risk of loss passes to the customer once the carrier scans the package or marks it “Delivered.”

Customers must inspect shipments promptly and notify Space Coast Mealworms of lost or damaged items within 7 days of delivery.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Space Coast Mealworms website — including images, descriptions, logos, designs, and laser-cut patterns — is the property of Space Coast Mealworms.

Customers may not reproduce, copy, or use any designs for commercial purposes without written consent.

Custom orders created for a customer remain protected under this policy; the customer receives the physical product but does not acquire rights to reproduce the design unless explicitly agreed upon.
6. Payment & Chargebacks
All orders must be paid in full at checkout. Initiating a chargeback without contacting Space Coast Mealworms first may limit eligibility for refunds or replacements.

Space Coast Mealworms maintains detailed records of each order, including photographs, production notes, and communication logs, to support dispute resolution.
7. International Orders
Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or import taxes for international shipments. Space Coast Mealworms is not liable for delays or additional charges imposed by customs authorities.
8. Policy Updates
Space Coast Mealworms may update these Terms, Shipping Policy, or Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this website with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the site or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes must be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Brevard County, Florida, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
